Some people may experience on odour in their urine or bad breath while on the program. This occurs as your body burns fat and releases ketones.
A few things you can try are adding fresh lemon slices to your water or chewing on parsley which is a natural breath freshener and having a breath freshening spray handy. Make sure you are taking sips of water throughout your day too, to keep you mouth moist.
Try to avoid gums and mints as they can be loaded with sugars and can add additional calories and carbs to your diet without you even noticing.
It's not a great side effect but look at it this way - you're burning heaps of fat so that's a huge plus!!
