The next four weeks will be made up of one protein day each week and your meal plan days. Here we start to form new habits and attitudes towards food and how it fuels our body. You may notice an increase in energy levels as your body starts to adjust and perform better with it's proper fuel source. You may also notice that your mind feels clearer and as you move through these weeks a number of other benefits will appear. Something we hear a lot of at this stage is: " I never realised how bad I felt until I started to feel so good!"
As you're forming these new behaviours and changing your biology, it's a great time to develop a deeper understanding of the mind-body-gut connection. Our gut plays a very important role in not only our digestive health but our mental health. A great book regarding habit creation is The Slight Edge. Start reading this if you haven't already and equip yourself with those tools necessary to make the lasting changes to create a life you love.
